The Department of Chemical Engineering offers modern degree programmes in Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, and Nanotechnology, providing students with a solid engineering foundation and a strong focus on both practical skills and research. Our programmes offer a wide range of specialisations and career opportunities. We offer the following English-taught degree programmes:

• Bachelor's Degree: Chemistry and Technology (Specialisation: Engineering)
• Master's Degree: Chemical Engineering and Bioengineering
• Doctoral Degree: Chemical and Process Engineering

Double degree options are available for both Master’s and Doctoral programmes.

At our department, you will learn from leading experts who are dedicated not only to research but also to high-quality teaching. Among them stands out the Head of Department, Professor František Štěpánek, recipient of the 2019 Werner von Siemens Award for excellence in teaching. Professor Štěpánek is a respected scientist, founder of the Laboratory of Chemical Robotics, and author of more than 230 scientific publications. His approach to students emphasizes individual guidance, independent thinking, and the joy of discovery.
