Students Scientific Conference

The Student Scientific Conference (SVK) takes place at UCT Prague every year in November. Bachelor and master degree students present the results of their research work. At the Faculty of Chemical Engineering, the works are divided into several sections according to the specialization, each competitor presents their work to a professional committee in the form of a short lecture. It has become a tradition that, in addition to the evaluation of contributions by commissions composed of teachers of the ICT Prague, students' work is evaluated and appreciated (by material or monetary prizes) by representatives of the industrial sphere. Part of the competition day is also a presentation of the members of the evaluation committee and a presentation of the sponsoring company, which can address the students for later cooperation. A great benefit of this event is the coordination of interests or cooperation between academia and industry.

In case you would like to become a sponsor of SVK, please contact the departmental coordinator doc. Dr. Ing. Pavlína Basařová (pavlina.basarova@vscht.cz). If you would be interested in sponsoring more departments at our faculty, please contact the faculty coordinator of SVK doc. Ing. Jitka Čejková, Ph.D. (Jitka.Cejkova@vscht.cz).
