Two GAČR standard projects have been awarded to our department
The Czech Science Foundation (GA ČR) will start funding more than 400 scientific projects across all fields of basic research from next year, with a total allocation exceeding CZK 3.7 billion. All project proposals underwent a two-stage evaluation process conducted exclusively by researchers from Czech and international institutions. Starting in 2026, GA ČR will support 336 new standard projects. Project proposals with a duration of up to three years may be submitted by all researchers and their teams regardless of age or experience. Due to budget constraints, the success rate has reached a historically lowest level of only 14%.
Two applicants from our department have been successful.
Prof. Michal Přibyl, Ph.D., succeeded with his project Continuous unit operations for enantiomer separation using layers with ionic selectors as the principal investigator, and Assoc. Prof. Viola Tokárová, Ph.D., will act as co-investigator of the project From Speculation to Mechanism: Deciphering the True Potential of Poly(Heptazine Imide).
Congratulations, and we wish them every success in the coming years.
