Assoc. Prof. Vladimír Václavek Passed Away

It is with great sadness that we share the news that Assoc. Prof. Vladimír Václavek, a long-serving colleague and one of the founders of process systems engineering, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, after a short illness, at the age of 87.

The funeral service will take place on Monday, September 15, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the Small Ceremony Hall of the Crematorium in Prague–Strašnice.
