"Lékobot“

We warmly congratulate Erik Sonntag and Elizaveta Mutylo on being granted a Czech patent titled:
“Method for Producing Multicomponent Drug Forms with Personalized Composition and a Device for Carrying Out This Method”, registered under CZ 310394 B6.

The patented technology, known as “Lékobot”, represents a novel approach to producing personalized drug formulations. It enables the combination of multiple active pharmaceutical ingredients into a single dose, thereby reducing the number of tablets a patient must take daily. This innovation not only improves treatment adherence, especially for patients with multiple conditions (polypharmacy), but also contributes to reducing the environmental footprint of pharmaceutical manufacturing by minimizing the use of unnecessary excipients.

We are proud that such an innovative solution was developed right here at our department!
